It takes a lot of support to help homeless youth become successful. Together, we can give them that support.

Imagine you are homeless, there’s no one to call. Your wallet was stolen and you’re standing in front of a Police Officer who is asking you to prove who you are. What do you do?
For most people, this is hypothetical. For me, it’s a memory. What did I do? I cried. I was 15 years old, cold, wet, I hadn’t bathed or eaten a hot meal in 3 days. The Police Officer took me to a shelter, where I stayed for the 7 days they were paid by the State to keep me. I got cleaned up, a couple changes of clothes, and some food. After 7 days, I was kicked out and back on the streets where I stayed until I joined the Navy at age 19.
Project LeightHouse was created to do better than that for America’s Youth.
We all need love and support to realize a brighter future.
Project LeightHouse is a United Faith Charity of the Church of Syzygos, a 501c3 Organization
Project LeightHouse was Created by People who went through what these Young People are going through
Project LeightHouse’s approach is a holistic roadmap to success, starting with immediate needs and building toward long-term stability. Your support helps provide:
Immediate Safety: Shelter, food, clothing, and access to essential documents and social services.
A Support Network: Mentors, professional mental health support, and job-training to build skills and confidence.
Financial Stability: Guidance on getting work, managing income, saving, and investing for a secure future.
Life Skills: Essential lessons in communication, household management, and self-care.
Every dollar you provide directly contributes to a comprehensive program that saves lives and provides homeless youth with the chance to build the successful life they deserve.
You’re not just giving money; you’re offering hope and a second chance.
Let’s Be the Solution
There’s a lot of depressing statistics on how big and ugly the problem of youth homelessness is. The failures of the foster care system, what’s broken, and who’s at fault. But that doesn’t help the actual people who are suffering in a system that can’t help them and won’t change.
The Solution
The solution to the problem of homelessness is following a plan that includes: a safe place to live, personal assessment, commitment, education, training, a support system, and most importantly, the time to execute the plan.
Your Support
With your support today, Project LeightHouse will be that solution.
Your Donation
Your Donation will be used to get a young person on the path to success, to a better life for them and the generations to come. The money you spend today on providing a safe place for these kids to execute their plan will multiply itself in the success you make possible.
“Every man must decide whether he will walk in the light of creative altruism or the darkness of destructive selfishness. This is the judgment. Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, ‘What are you doing for others?’”
Dr Martin Luther King, Jr.
Success Stories
For Over 20 years, the Founders of Project LeightHouse have been bringing Homeless Youth into their homes. They have always amazed us. They have helped in developing a program that works. Their resilience, drive and humility are an inspiration. Meet some of them.
Joshua “Coco” L.
When he joined us a 18, Josh was working 8 hours a week at a fast food chain. He stayed with us for just over 2 years. After completing his assessment, he started working in construction, as a general laborer. Today, Josh is an electrician, engaged, and working on spiritual and interpersonal development.
Megan B.
Megan came to us depressed and not really sure about anything. After a time to reflect and work on her depression, she committed to the program. She became a pharmacy technician, and started to believe in herself. She is currently finishing her Doctor of Pharmacy, with a specialization in Infectious Disease. She is also working on a long term relationship, healthy relationship boundaries, and spending time with her chosen family and friends.
Alex R.
Alex came to us homeless, and without any direction. He was with us just over a year. In that time, he completed his GED, and started his path to become a Los Angeles Police officer. Today, he’s a detective, married, and a home owner.
